Welcome Letter

I would like to welcome you to the NY-824 website! Here cadets, senior members, and families can find information about our squadron meetings, cadet promotion updates, and all other squadron activities.

I am proud to be the Squadron Commander of the Buffalo Creek Academy Cadet Squadron. We are a school cadet squadron, meaning our unit is tied directly to Buffalo Creek Academy Charter School through a memorandum of understanding (MOU). All of our cadets are current students or alumni of Buffalo Creek Academy Charter School. All of our Senior Members are current or former staff members of BCA.

It is no coincidence that the CAP Squadron is named after the school. NY-824 was founded as a Cadet Squadron for the students of BCA. As the founder and CEO of BCA, I can credibly state that we knew that we wanted this program for our students from day #1.

It is truly my honor to serve as NY-824’s founder and Squadron Commander. If you ever need to contact me, please reach out to me via email at cmanning.cap@buffalocreekacademy.org
